What to Do With Kids During the Pandemic
Ready for some grins? Yes, writing can bring laughs. This is another one of our family’s favorites. Sitting around the kitchen table reading ridiculous sentences.
Materials:
- Journal
- Pen
- Sense of Humor
Directions:
- Choose 3 different categories
- Pick a word for each category
- In 3 minutes, write a sentence using all 3 words
- Share your passages
- Write another passage using 1 idea from your partners sentence
Examples:
- Pick your favorite movie character, favorite sport, and food
- Pick a noun, verb and adjective
